THE FOLKS

Jackie's parents, Tom and Karen Pozza, have been married for 40 years this October! They met while working in a papermill in DePere, Wisconsin. They're incredibly generous and fun people and love camping with their puppy Chewbacca (Chewy). Jackie cannot thank them enough for all the love and support they have given her throughout the years.

David's parents, Andy and Debbie Reisner, were also married 40 years ago! They met while working together at a state hospital in Tiffin, Ohio. They are sweet and loving parents, who enjoy traveling and being at home with their two kitties Mooey and Novi. David thanks them for all their patience, even when he ground Gak into the carpet when he was five.

David met his best man, Cody Ziler, met about 20 years ago in middle school. Since then, they've traveled the world together, adopted a pair of cats - Artie and Moose, and have many nights of unspeakable adventures. Cody has always been there for David, from hangovers to unpleasant bike rides in Ireland. Cody current is a UX/UI designer with Impact.

David and his groomsman, Jon Janczewski, also met in middle school. They spent many summers together, especially in college when they played pool basketball (yes, basketball in the pool). Jon is a Quality Assurance Advisor at USAA. Guests should ask Jon about his love for apple juice.

Jackie's Lord of the Bride is her younger brother, Nick Pozza. Nick works in the Information Technology Department of the Wisconsin State Legislature. Nick and Jackie have been lifetime nerds together, playing Dungeons and Dragons, video games, and reading fantasy books. Nick has been one of the most important people in Jackie's life and has helped her become the woman she is today.

Jackie's Lady of the Bride, Lauren Pozza, is Jackie's older sister. Lauren is a supermom to her two children, Marissa and Jayden. Lauren and Jackie were almost twins growing up -- wearing the same clothes, sharing a room and toys. Jackie couldn't ask for a better sister than Lauren who teaches her every day to be loving, silly, and brave.

THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE BRIDE

Jackie's Fellowship of the Bride consists of her most trusted companions.

Jackie and Janelle first met in passing while on a European trip with choir students across the state of Wisconsin. They met again the first day of college when they were assigned dorm rooms in the same house. Over the 17 years of their friendship, they have experienced so much together and Janelle has been Jackie's rock through it all. Janelle currently works as a consultant for Deloitte helping to advance Wisconsin's Medicaid program.

Jackie knew she and Barbara would be the best of friends seven years ago when Barbara brought huge orders of crab rangoon to a potluck in graduate school. Barbara quickly became Jackie's graduate school wife and looked after her with deliveries of coffee, a couch to sleep on in Milwaukee, and was always down for pints at the pub. Currently, Barbara is the Exhibits Curator at the Museum of Mississippi History and the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum.

Tori has kept Jackie laughing ever since they met on an archaeological collections project over eight years ago. They both are Wisconsin Badgers and are Masters of Science in Wisconsin archaeology. Tori currently is the Tour and Education Programs Curator at the Tampa Museum of Art and is one of the most bubbly, lovely, and absolutely hilarious people Jackie knows. Ask her at the wedding for a wedding pun - we bet you she has a few!

Comrades in all things, Allyse and Jackie have been friends for over seven years. They immediately bonded in graduate school over Cowboy Bebop and have been nerding out ever since. Allyse currently lives far up nort' on "the Wall" of northern Minnesota. She is the Curator at the Minnesota Discovery Center and is witty and hilarious. Catch her towards the end of the evening and ask some history questions!

This is going to be a night to remember
